About Number Nest

Number Nest is the classic number-placement logic puzzle. Every freshly generated grid has exactly one solution and needs no guessing — just careful thinking. Place the numbers 1 to 9 so that no row, column or 3×3 box repeats a number. Pencil in notes, undo slips and finish fast for a bigger time bonus, but three mistakes and the nest falls!

How to play

• Select an empty cell, then choose a number to place it.
• Each row, column and 3×3 box must contain 1–9 exactly once.
• Turn on Notes to pencil in candidates. Three wrong numbers end the game.

Controls

• Click / Tap — Select cell & number
• Arrow keys — Move selection
• 1–9 — Place number
• Backspace — Erase
• N — Toggle notes
• U — Undo
